How to Set the Calendar

Setting The Date On Your Watch

Adjusting the date on your watch is a relatively simple task to accomplish. Considering most watches outside of perpetual calendar models to not automatically adjust on shorter months, you will inevitably have to adjust the calendar on your watch.

For watches with numeric date calendars: gently pull out the crown on your watch located on the right side of the case. The crown should have two positions when you open it: The first position is to adjust the date calendar, the second position is to set the time. In the first position, rotate the crown in one direction, if this does not work rotate the crown in the other direction while you advance to the correct date. Note the date wheel does not turn back, so if you miss the date you'll have to rotate it once more to the correct date. Afterwards move the crown back to the closed position.

For watches with day and date calendars: gently pull out the crown on your watch located on the right side of the case to the second position. If you're updating the time between the 9:00 and 3:OO o'clock hours, change the time past the 3:00 o'clock hour. Afterwards move the crown in one position, rotating the crown in one position and you'll be able to update the date, rotate the crown in the opposite position and you'll be able to update the day. Note both the day and date wheels do not turn back, so if you miss the date you'll have to rotate it once more to the correct date. Afterwards readjust the time to the proper time and move the crown back to its proper position.
